Terms of service

Destroy My Stuff is a customer-facing service of Provenary, Inc. These terms cover use of the Destroy My Stuff website.

The service

Destroy My Stuff connects customers with independent destruction providers for documents, hard drives, and e-waste. We do not operate shredding trucks and do not perform destruction. Independent providers perform any destruction service. We do not issue NAID or i-SIGMA certification, and a listing does not insure a provider’s work.

A service is available only where an independent provider participates and covers that location.

Customers may submit only lawful materials the selected provider accepts. Providers may decline items they do not support or that are legally restricted.

Requests and payment

You can search and submit a booking request. No payment is collected when a service request is submitted. Submitting a request does not confirm a paid booking or mean the job is completed.

Cancellation

Cancellation and refund practices are on the refunds page. A Certificate of Destruction is generated only after a provider marks the job completed.

Use of the site

Do not misuse the site or attempt to access another person’s account. Customer support is support@destroymystuff.com. This address is monitored.
